I’ve had a peter pan collar shirt in my cupboard for ages now, and always not sure on how to style it. After trying one or two options, i think the best way (for me) was to keep it very feminine with a skater skirt and heels. I’ve been afraid to wear it with pants because the collar can end up looking too masculine for me…hope you like the look 
Im totally in love with ankle boots for winter 2013! And I’m discovering all kinds of ways to wear them, this is not a very adventurous look but there are so many ways ankle boots can go wrong in a look so iv found its best to keep it simple. I’ve seen a lot of people pull them off with skirts and dresses but i seem to not have the right leg for this look, i doubt many people can pull it off!!
But the possibilities with skinny jeans and tights are endless and i love the ankle boot as a winter staple. Get them in a classic nude for your cream and pastel knits and a good grungy black with studs for pairing with the new leather look jeans and leggings. I’ve topped this look off with a bold lip, my winter makeup essential, and loads of mascara.

For a while now i’ve had this soft pastel pink dress in my cupboard, because the color and cut is so ladylike i wasn’t sure of how to style it without looking too frumpy. At first my instinct was to pair it with nude heels and soft pastel accessories but this turned out looking a bit too “candy land”.
SO at last i worked on this look for quite some time – i think the black heels and leopard print clutch really work well to make it look more sophisticated while still accentuating the soft pinks with some bold pastel accessories. What do you think? And what items in your cupboard are you dying to wear but just don’t know how to style?
Im having a big moment with plum this winter, i’m dying over anything that is plum and finding it such a delicious winter color – if you’re not ready to commit to plum yet why not try a deep plum on your nails or a statement lip with neutral eyes.

Its my Sunday ritual to play around on Polyvore and i just love putting outfits together, it also takes the stress out of getting dressed in the mornings because i have worked out a few outfits that work well together in advance
During the week i had to have this pair of nude ankle boots from Zara, because of the chunky heel they are more suited for daytime. I’ve paired them with skinny jeans, but the jeans must be cuffed once ~example below~ to make the look work. The ankle boot is not easy to pull off, but if its in a neutral color and not too many embellishments anyone can work it into their wardrobe Whenever i try a new trending item i always try to play down the rest of the outfit, so the neutral accessories will really make this outfit look effortless yet on trend!
